Atlanta, GA (AHN) – Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue announced on Saturday a set of measures to deal with rapidly shrinking water supplies in 85 state counties. Perdue has called on the White House to declare the northern third of Georgia a federal disaster area as the region as it copes with historically dry weather.
