alone in columbus

September 20th, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

well, i havent really written a blog inĀ  while. all the stuff before this has been petty and stupid. I shrug.

I came to columbus to see the OSU game with Troy. The game was great fun and the outcome was good for any OSU fan.

The alone thing? I am working on it. Carla is great. She is the love of my life and worth every minute of my time. She couldnt make it, which I truly regret.

Other than that, I have some key points about cowtown and here they are:

1) The bikers in the bike scene here are awesome. EVERYONE I talked to, whether it was about a messenger bag or something else, was very nice. They were willing to talk to you. They were willing to share a beer with you and hang out. I found that refreshing coming from a scene so saturated with clicks that dont really mean anything.

2) You cant j walk here.

3) I actually considered moving back here to go back to OSU, that’s not going to happen.

4) I found Alta bikes at a local shop. These frames are awesome. If i could get JUST the frame set….

5) Tommy’s pizza, after all these years, is the shit for pizza.

6) I wish I could have shared this with the one person who I really adore.

7) I hate being seen by people where I go as “Pete’s brother….”

8) The bands at independents day fest, well, sucked.

Anyway, buckeyes will be sent to the girls and I hope that the person who isnt here fights for me.
