track race 33 was called on account of someone doing a face plant right in front of me and my having to drop through the infield and almost taking out a kid…

American Velodrome Challenge (AVC), Major Taylor Velodrome, July 31-August 1
AVC 1k M TT, 1:30:02, DFL by four seconds, nine places (should have done the 500 instead)
Non-AVC 15 lap scratch race for cats 1,2,3 Masters, 5th out 7.

AVC 200m TT to qualify for nationals:

14.1 seconds, 9 place out of 12
against Mat, lost
against Beth and someone else, second place, held my 9th place
against someone else, wheel to wheel for ninth/ten

These are rough because all the races that happened DID happen for CAT 1-3 and women in, oh, 45 minutes…

race 54, 10th, scratch, Tim 9th, I was geared all wrong.
race 55, 6th place, miss n out, out of 7, which is was an actual place for me in a CAT3 Race. sad, but true.

I went to the season ender for Thursday’s at the Major Taylor Velodrome and had a blast. Lara tagged along and Matt from Turin was there. It was a good time racing after three weeks off. Felt good and would be doing the two day event this weekend had I planned ahead better. And the final count is, racing with the CAT4s as a CAT3:

Race 58, 25.03 flying lap.
Race 59 no place, scratch race, bars came loose at the beginning had a rough start.
Race 60, 3rd place, points race.
Race 61, 6th, Miss n’ Out
Race 62, 6th place, points race.
